Venture capitalists and other investors specializing in technology innovation are turning their attention to a new crop of companies seeking to leverage data analytics and connected devices to modernize the health care sector and improve patient outcomes. Data compiled by Reuters show that fund managers are bolstering their holdings in health care technology companies, with funding for the sector up 176% this year.
