Russian treason charges embroil Verisign in controversy
Treason charges against two Russian security officials and a cybersecurity investigator for Kaspersky Lab arrested in December stem from sharing government secrets with Verisign and other US firms, according to a report. Verisign, which has denied the charges, allegedly passed on the information to US intelligence operatives.
